SANCA coordinates all volunteer programs at the park, and with 600+ events each year there is always a way to get involved. Whether you have a few hours or a few days, your time and energy make a real impact on our park and our community.

Event Support
Help run regattas, 5K races, festivals, and community celebrations — from setup to teardown and everything in between.
Race Day Timing & Logistics
Assist with timing systems, course marshalling, athlete check-in, and race-day coordination for competitive events.
Park Beautification
Join landscaping days, trail maintenance crews, and clean-up events that keep our 550 acres looking their best.
Community Outreach
Represent NBP at local events, welcome visitors, lead park tours, and help spread the word about our programs.
Kids Camp Support
Mentor young campers during summer and holiday programs — assist with activities, water sports, and outdoor education.
Fitness Program Assistance
Support free community fitness classes including yoga, boot camp, and walking groups with setup and participant coordination.
